I've been trying to imitate the "Black Russian" laugh for years. Still kills me.

This scene did for Eddie what the Billie Jean moonwalk at Motown 25 did for Michael Jackson. This is the point were Eddie went from a very funny tv star breaking into movies to a fully fledged bona fide cinema & comedy legend.

Not just one of the best scenes in movie comedy history, gotta be one of the best movie scenes of all time... That short pause in dialogue in response to "what kind of a cop are you" is near perfection, the redneck for that split second understood exactly how Eddie's character felt "this shits been happening to us for years, tonight, in this bar, we get a chance to even things up a bit"... nailed it

I think this is the best minute and a half of cinema ever made

i think i was 6 the first time i saw this movie. when eddie took the shot and fired the glass at the mirror he immediately became the coolest person alive. every time i went to a bar after i turned 21 i wanted to do that.

This was my whole favorite scene in the whole movie I saw this part I say three or four times before I get to the whole picture if they ever did a remake I wonder how this would be and who will play Reggie's character

Eddie Murphy is a fucking legend.

This scene is dumb. White people especially rednecks would know to look at the picture. Especially when the guy tries so hard to cover it up with his finger. Also real cop or not back then they would have made his death look like an accident.

People really forget that this movie is why most modern cop movies exist.
